The Auburn Public Library dates back to 1903 and is rumored to be haunted by a ghostly man that doesn't stop smiling. Witnesses have reported seeing the man staring down at them from inside the building, but upon checking, the place is empty.

Established in 1907, the historic William Fogg Library has seen its fair share of paranormal activity. Local legend says a photograph had been taken for a newspaper and it revealed a transparent skull floating above a staircase. There have also been eerie reports of windows that break on their own.
