Built in the early 19th Century, the West Durham Methodist Church is a historic location that features a Greek Revival architecture. The church was built on the site of a meeting ground used since 1802 and is rumored to be haunted. Paranormal reports at this church include multiple occurrences where visitors had been locked in by an unseen presence. To make the church even creepier, it is located adjacent to Stephen King's childhood home.
