Details
Lake George Regional Park West in Skowhegan was founded in 1992 and offers group facilities, playing fields, cabins, picnicking, hiking, fishing, swimming, boating and more. Although the park hasn't been around for hundreds of years, it still has an abundance of paranormal reports associated with it.
One of the haunting claims at this park include objects on tables being rearranged after them being set up for specific events. Supposedly this happens in a short timeframe, from when the person completely turns around. Another report, probably one of the most famous legends, include a group of children that were wandering about in the woods and stumbled upon an old cabin. Of course, the children were curious, so two of the kids lifted one of the smaller children up to look through a window. The child stated there were chairs folded up against the wall and it appeared to be a game room. When another child went inside, the chairs were placed around a table.
